Around The Moon Marathon FKT

This is a FREE social Trail Marathon run which starts in Cradle Moon then follows the 30km Cradle loop and ends back to Cradle moon. The route is specifically designed as a training camp for Karkloof 100 and 50 miler but everyone is welcome.

DATE AND TIME: 6th Aug 2022 Briefing @7:00am Run Starts @7:30am

Fee: Only pay the Cradle moon park fees: R70

Water access: 15km Bidon Bistro bathrooms 22.2km Water Table next to the road 36.5km Water table at Cradle Moon entrance gate

Pacers welcome: Join your friend for part of the route via foot or even on Mountain bike.

Support: Have your friends and family support you along the way. The route makes it very easy to follow and support your runners. Support them with their favourite drink or nutrition.

This is a social fun run. Please note you participate at your own risk. We do cross public roads three times and we do not have any traffic marshals. Please proceed with caution. We recommend that all female runners run the Cradle loop section accompanied by a fellow runner, pacer or support vehicle.

Route Description: The route is a full Marathon distance with runnable rolling hills which boasts an elevation gain of 634 meters.
